Joey Karier, originally from Luxembourg, is a young emerging filmmaker in the Belgian cinema scene. He began his studies at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD) in 2020, where he earned his bachelor's degree in directing in 2023. He is completing his Master’s in the same field with his graduation film titled « Between Dog & Wolf » (2025).
