Biography
Andrés Certuche (Cali, May 13, 2006) is an emerging filmmaker from Cali and a Film student at Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. From the early stages of his career, he has specialized in the field of production, serving as executive producer of university short films such as El vampiro mas lindo del mundo (2024) and Aqui el que baila, gana (2025). He has also worked as a production assistant on projects such as Carnal (2025), strengthening his experience in the management and development of audiovisual works.
In 2025, he took an important step in his career by co-directing TABOO, marking his first experience as a film director. Beyond his work in Colombia, he has also worked abroad as a photographer, exploring other dimensions of the image and visual storytelling.
His journey defines him as a young creator in constant search of expressive languages that merge production with an artistic vision, forging his path in contemporary cinema.
