Alee is a film enthusiast with an MA in Film Studies from the University of Kent, England. After graduating, she worked in different startups with a music, fashion, and tech background in their marketing departments, trying to find resonance between film and branding by telling stories to the right audience.

Alee has directed a few short films and one original web series called "Kau Memang Special Tapi Dia Double Cheese," which aired on TAPAUtv. Her works are often drawn to stories about relationships and personal struggles. Until today, she still continues to attend screening venues and film festivals to feed her soul.
