José Pablo Cedeño was born on October 5, 1999 in Morelia, Michoacan, México. He is a director and writer, known for Pépé (2025), The Wizard (2022), I Heard It (2021), iSi Puedo! (2019) and La Apuesta (2017).
He is an enthusiastic filmmaker who likes to capture his emotions and feelings in his work. A characteristic feature of his works is the participation of his loved ones either as part of the production team or as cameos. In this way creating an unforgettable, fun and familiar experience in each shooting. In this way he seeks to pay homage to these loved ones by immortalizing them in his works.
Official filmmaker since he was 15 years old. Participating multiple times in short film contests. Winning in 2017 with his short film La Apuesta (2017), the world gold medal for Mexico in the world final short film contest in Bucharest, Romania.
Creator and director of AnimAura Festival Internacional de Animación®, the first animation festival in the state of Michoacán, Mexico.
