Huang Sheng-Chun
Biography
Sheng-Chun Huang, a native filmmaker based in Taipei, is currently studying at the Graduate Institute of Documentary and Film Archiving of the TNNUA.
As a creator who wanders between fiction and reality, he has recently focused on Taiwan's history and human rights. Producing one to two short films annually, he aspires to become a visual storyteller skilled in blending narrative, documentary, and experimental forms of storytelling.
His films have received recognition from festivals at home and abroad. The documentary ""An invisible red line"" won Best Student Documentary at the 46th Golden Harvest Awards. The co-directed documentary ”Relife“ won third place at the 2022 New Taipei City Documentary Awards and Best Student Documentary at the 45th Golden Harvest Awards. The co-directed short film ""Afterlife"", combining animation and live-action, was selected for the 2023 FID Campus at the Marseille International Film Festival in France.
