Dr. Janet Alvarez Gonzalez is an award-winning director, executive producer, reporter, media personality, and marketing expert with over 19 years of experience across diverse sectors of the media industry. Born on February 7, 1965, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, she began her career in the late 1980s as a director, producer, and political reporter for prominent U.S. television and radio networks, including PBS, NPR, FOX, and Jay Sears News Services. During her career, she has produced and interviewed key global figures such as Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, Lt. Col. Oliver North, U.S. Vice President Al Gore, Virginia Governor George Allen, and Puerto Rico Governor Alejandro García Padilla, among many others. Her work has aired on major platforms like ABC, NBC, Telemundo, WAPA TV, Teletica, Bolivision, Univision, PBS, Pentagon Network, Radio Puerto Rico, and National Radio Network.

Dr. Alvarez Gonzalez holds a robust academic background. She studied Editing and Post-Production at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, Spain, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
