Michael Antonio Keane is a multilingual Spanish/Irish actor and filmmaker, currently pursuing a BA (Hons) in Film at the National Film School (IADT). Born in Cork, Ireland, in 2003, Michael’s passion for storytelling and visual arts has driven him to explore diverse narratives and connect with audiences on a profound level. Over the years, Michael’s work has garnered significant recognition, including the "Spirit Award" for his short film Covid Éire at the IFTA & BAFTA Qualifying IndieCork Film Festival in 2020. This film, along with others, reflects his commitment to tackling themes that resonate deeply both personally and socially. With over 40 selections at national and international film festivals. His 2022 film, Like A Bolt From The Blue was shortlisted for Best Drama at the 2023 AAHFF New York Premiere at AMC Theaters in Times Square. While Michael’s achievements speak volumes, his journey is rooted in a deep love for the craft and a desire to explore the human experience through film.
