Caledonia was born in Kingman, Arizona along Route 66. Growing up, Caledonia studied and graduated from the Orange County School of the Arts with a focus in Film and Television and later graduated from the Los Angeles Film School with a focus in Production and Design.

Caledonia has won a number of writing competitions, published her first book at 15 years old, and is the winner of Cine Pitchfest in 2016.
