Biography
Born in Kingston Jamaica, Mia Golden is a writer, director, actor and producer whose background as a counselor and understanding of the human experience allows her to delve deep into her characters. She has worked on numerous films in a variety of capacities including the award winning feature comedy Jackhammer (eOne Films, 2014), to short films, documentaries, and most recently the dramatic feature film she wrote and produced, Fragile Seeds.
Mia is also an actress including romantic comedies such as Why Can't My Life Be A Romcom (2023, E!) and the award winning comedy feature, Open For Submissions (2019) and she was recently acknowledged for Lead Actress in Fragile Seeds (2022) by the International Independent Film Awards.
Mia now lives on the West Coast of Canada in Victoria.
