David Chrastka is a sound effects editor at Skywalker Sound. He has contributed to numerous productions, including Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Doctor Strange (2016), and Thor: Ragnarok (2017). Chrastka's work has been recognised by the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE), earning him multiple nominations for the prestigious Golden Reel Award. Notably, he was nominated for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Sound Effects and Foley for Feature Film for his contributions to Thor: Ragnarok, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Doctor Strange. In 2024, he received a nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing – Feature International for his work on The Beach Boys documentary on Disney+. Beyond his film work, Chrastka has also contributed to television series, including The Acolyte and Skeleton Crew.
