Biography
Born in 1955, she has a career as nightclub singer and advertising model before signing a contract with Shaw Brothers in 1978. Over the next years she averaged three to four films annually including "The Scandalous Warlord", "Legend of the Fox", "Return of the Sentimental Swordsman", "Notorious Eight", "The Duel of the Century", etc. In "Return of the Sentimental Swordsman", he worked with super stars Ching Li, Ti Lung and Alexander Fu Sheng. After leaving Shaw Brothers in 1983, Chu made one final movie, "The Black Magic With Buddha" --directed by former Shaw Brothers' co-star Lo Lieh-- and retired from motion pictures gradually.
