Overview:

While young Earl Hurd Jr. is writing the scenario for the latest Bobby Bumps cartoon, a chicken is busy laying eggs. When he finally gets around to directing the cartoon, however, Bobby Bumps balks at the cartoon smoke, which looks more like bed springs to him.
