Overview:

The bustling hustle and bustle of the asparagus harvest, the sigh of the last Elbe ferry, the vastness of the pine forest along the new bike path. Who would like to report on this? In 1990, village chronicles came to an abrupt end in many places in East Germany, and with them the memory of a region. The film continues the story of life in the village of Cobbel, population 200, in search of what characterizes the East German mentality today.
